At Chicago Height’s very own True Foundation Church, our members and the community are the most essential assets in our service advocacy commitment to God’s people. For that reason, our mission is to not only prosperously reach our fellowship and community, but also to effectively teach it. Over the years, our congregation, as well as Christians from all over the world, have developed a genuine concern for the lack of children entering the doors of today’s ministries. In order to alleviate this alarming truth and fulfill God’s word, we recognize the importance of fostering an environment where guidance is valued, hearts are strengthened, teachings are influentially applied, and recreational services are adequately utilized for the betterment of our youth. Therefore, with the facilitation of God’s grace, the support of our congregation and community and our Bishop, James A. Jones’ dauntless vision, we are seeking to build a youth center within the near future. This facility will provide jobs, recreational activities for adults and youth & serve as an exercise facility, it will house various counseling services, youth mentoring and self-improvement classes for adults and seniors. Our Food Pantry will also relocate there. The Center will also serve as a banquet facility and headquarters for our special events.

True Foundation Church has provided a donation fund called the Youth Center BLDG Fund, which allows individuals to donate through mail, PayPal and other options as their spirit leads them to give. While our objective is to raise $100,000 towards the Youth Center BLDG Fund, several members have already taken it upon themselves to pledge $1,000 each to the fund, successfully accumulating a total of $17,000 in pledges so far. In Galatians 6:9-10, it states “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do well to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Thus, your donations, no matter how large or small, can make the difference in reaching our goal. Even small contributions, when combined with gifts from others, can achieve immense results – with moving forward toward the realization of this awesome vision.
